Aastha Shah Life Story & Vitiligo

Aastha was diagnosed with vitiligo when was 8 years old. Back then it was very hard for aastha and her parents to deal with her problem. It was like a nightmare for her family.
For at least 6 years Aastha took all types of medicines and medication to cure her vitiligo, but nothing worked out. Her family even took her to many temples but that too didn’t work. During her school days also she got a lot of hate comments due her skin colour. As she recalls, in her school life, nobody wanted to sit next to her.
6 years after suffering from hard and worthless treatment she stopped her treatment and decided to focus on her studies. Her family supported her decision and motivated her. Aastha’s dad always said her that: do not care about how you look, the day you become successful in life no one’s gonna care about how you look, just live your life!
After she stooped her medication, Aastha focused on her studies and she scored well in her exams. Her academic performance went up day by day and she got many scholarships.
As years passed, her vitiligo got spread all over her body, and she got evenly covered with white skin.
In 2019, she decided to make her story public, so that it could educate and help people suffering from vitiligo. Aastha’s main motive was to motivate people suffering from vitiligo. She shared her life journey and urged people to chase their dreams.
For her graduation she went to U.K. She did her graduation in Economics and Finance.
After completing her graduation she got selected in HDFC bank. Aastha Shah is currently working as an Assistant Manager at HDFC bank.
While working as banker she decided to create some digital content on social media. Initially she posted motivational videos which were focused on her skin condition, vitiligo, and then she posted her dance videos on Instagram which soon went viral and she gained recognition.
Slowly she picked-up the trend and her content ventured into different avenues like fashion and makeup.
