Early life & Career

After completing her graduation in 2017, Andrea started working as software engineer for a private company in Mexico.
In addition to her engineering career, she opted for modeling and was participating as a model in various beauty pageant titles. She dreamt about becoming a model when she was 15 years old.
It was in 2016 when she began her modelling career and participated in Miss World Mexico beauty pageant where she represented Chihuahua state.
In the competition final 2 contestants were crowned. Ana Girault, representing Mexico City, was crowned as Miss Mexico 2016 and was given the opportunity to represent Mexico at Miss World 2016, while Meza was given the opportunity to represent Mexico at Miss World 2017.
On 18 November 2017, Miss World 2017 was held at Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. Andrea Meza represented Mexico in the competition. After the final round she was declared as the first runner-up. She lost the title to Indian contestant Manushi Chhillar.
On 29 November 2020, Meza was crowned Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2020. During pre-pageant activities, Meza won six challenges, including the sports challenge. The Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2020 beauty pageant was held in Querétaro City, Mexico.
After winning the title of Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2020, Meza represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2020. The competition was held on 16 May 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida.
